CartHound
Abandoned cart recovery for Shopify

Most carts are left behind.
Send someone after them.

CartHound watches your store for abandoned carts and checkouts, then sends the reminders you wrote — email, SMS, a discount code when you want one — and shows you the orders they brought back.

Install CartHound from the Shopify App Store, then open it from Apps in your Shopify admin.

01 / detect

A shopper leaves a cart or a checkout. Shopify tells us, and we hold the cart with the contact details the shopper already gave.

02 / remind

Your sequence sends email and SMS at the delays you set, in your store's name, with a discount code when you choose to offer one.

03 / attribute

The order that follows is matched back to the message that brought it, so you can see what the reminders actually recovered.

What it does

Everything below is in the app today. No projections, no borrowed screenshots.

Reminder sequences

Multi-step recovery by email and SMS. Write each step, set its delay, attach a discount, and pause or resume the whole sequence — including what happens to the backlog a pause leaves behind.

Storefront popup

Capture an address before the cart is abandoned. The visitor gets a discount code on screen and a copy by email, and joins the list that later reminders use.

Your name on the message

Emails go out under your store name with replies routed to your inbox. Connect your own sending domain in Settings and we generate the DNS records for it.

Consent, roles and audit

One-click unsubscribe, STOP for SMS, and a suppression list an opt-out cannot fall off. Team roles limit who sees customer data, and every export and support view is written to an audit log you can read.
